valor, agravio, y mujer

performed at Fordham Theatre over Zoom
my process.

I had a lot of fun with this show. It was my first zoom production but it was also prerecorded so we were able to add a lot of sound in post-production. I always start a show with image research and a Spotify playlist to try and capture how I am hearing the show.

My next steps involve a conversation with the director. In this case, Sofia and I were interested in using authentic Spanish golden age music as underscores and transitions for the play. I wanted the world to feel true to the time so that the rules of the world could be broken by scenic and costume elements.
